Insects provide a good source of proteins, fats, vitamins, and minerals and are also energetically dense. ‘ENTOPRO’ can help to transform low-nutritive waste products into a high-protein diet, making them a promising source of alternative protein for replacement in animal feeds. Moreover, it has been designed to overcome the major constraint of prohibitive costs of feed and is also comparable or even superior to traditional sources of protein like fish meal or soybean.
